cover of sacntion across the world book with a little boy and his dog imagining a lot of objects

This book was written by Andrea Dias Bolivar who wanted to share information about her PhD thesis to the wider public and in particular to children.

It was designed to explain Unilateral Sanctions and their impacts on the life of children around the world. I was hired to illustrate this oeuvre.

Throughout the book, the reader can follow Tiago in his travels across the globe visiting children from Cuba, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Sudan, Zimbabwe, Iran, Syria, Palestine,  Yemen, China and Russia and learning how unilateral sanctions impact children from those countries.
